We had dinner last night with Ted and Pam at Il Pianista. This is my favorite restaurant. It's right on a little river, which you can't see out this window, but the setting is gorgeous. The inside is very rustic. It reminds me of the cave-like restaurants in Montepulciano in Italy. And the food is fantastic. Dan had his "usual" pizza with tomatoes, anchovies and garlic. I had spaghetti in clam sauce. Pam and Ted shared a pineapple-tomato pizza and a vegetable calzone that was as big as a shoe box. We enjoyed all of that with a perfect bottle of Chianti. Doris (the owner) took the picture. I guess she wasn't too concerned about Dan fitting in. But Pam and I look good, so we can crop this one.
Pam and I spent the morning with a short browse about the BCP Tuesday morning. We met Ted for lunch at Sugar and Spice. After that we went to the library for a little while to check out the latest art exhibit, and then we had our last meeting with the Blue Sky group. It was a pretty quiet meeting this time - thank goodness.
Tonight is dinner at Audrey's. I'm looking forward to this one. I know she loves to cook and spent a number of years in Venezuela, so it should be interesting.
