Here are a few photos of Dan's hike up Volcan Baru. It is the toughest hike here (at least it sounds like it to me). It's about a 12-hour hike. That's why it is best that I do not go. Thank God for Pia... :) The rainbow photo was actually taken from our porch here at home.
I spent a nice afternoon yesterday at Audrey's place with Pam and Nancy. It was a nice afternoon of knitting and chatting.
I have now worked my way through Transparent and Family Tree. Not sure what is next on the list. I finished reading Outlander and The Belly of Paris. So now I must move on to new movies and new books. I have discovered that it is quite difficult to find books and movies nowadays that are not laden with violence. I'm just not in the right frame of mind to handle that right now. Light and funny are on the agenda.
Ted and Pam moved out on Thursday. They will be at Valle Escondido until February 9. We will likely last see them on the 3rd as we are leaving for Bocas with Kathy and Dan on the 4th. Lynne and Phil arrive on Monday and Kathy and Dan on Wednesday. Looking forward to their visits.
