No pictures to post today, and not much going on, but just wanted to keep my journal updated. Yesterday Pam and I had a rough day starting off with a facial at the Bamboo Beauty Spa with Gladys Morales ($25 - some prices have remained low). After that we had breakfast at El Punto Encuentro where I had some of the best huevos rancheros ever. You can have either the Panamanian or Mexican tortilla. Since I didn't know what it was, I ordered the Panamanian. Turns out it is very similar to polenta.
We did a little grocery shopping (not a good idea on a Friday - the lines were very long), and then we sat out on Pam's patio where we went over her ELI debrief (an attitudinal assessment used in coaching). That is supposed to take an hour. It took us three. I've never done it in less than three. I very much enjoy the process of discovery.
Then a return home, studying, preparing dinner (fasolada - Greek bean soup) and then my new binge Parks and Recreation. Dan's been under the gun the past couple of days with work, so although I would really prefer to read (just downloaded The Book Thief), he finds that he is able to work longer with a distraction - and company. I find it interesting that he finds it easier to concentrate with the TV on, and I need everything turned off.
So, right now, Saturday morning, Dan's off with the walking club, I'm going to do my DVD workout with Jillian, do some studying and then prepare dinner for this evening - the fasolada, Putanesca, garlic bread and tilapia.

Okay, one photo. This is a shot of my prep area. Not quite like my island at home, but it works well enough.
