Pam and I decided today that Tuesdays will be our play day. She said that there are lots of places she's been wanting to check out, so now she has company to do it, and then we can attend the 2:30 Blue Sky group. We also decided that Dan and I will provide dinner on Saturday nights, and she and Ted will do a week night. Today we went to the library where we first sat in the cafe where we had empanadas and coffee and then toured some of the art work. Here are some shots of the library. It's only a year old, so they are just filling it, but it's a gorgeous space.
After the library, we visited Anavilma at the travel agency and spent another two hours (believe it or not) again to attempt to complete the change of Dan's ticket. Last time we went through this, they said all the changes were made and we just had to pay the extra charges. Why was I not surprised when they said that they didn't have a record of the change? And then of course when it came time to pay for the ticket, the credit card did not work - same credit card I used last time, but for some reason this time it didn't work. Don't anyone die because I'm not changing our tickets again! But again, thanks to Anavilma and her "assertive" manner, she manged to get the transaction completed. I was so relieved. After the travel agency, we went to Sabrason for lunch and then across the street for an ice cream.
A lovely day. Got home about 4, meditated, exercised, showered, and I am now in my PJs and ready to do a little reading - 6:23 - perfect. :) Oh, what about Dan? He worked. He's still working.
Sounds like a wonderful place to get away from this TERRIBLE cold!! We're SO happy for you!!

The town we are in is called Volcancito. It is a "suburb" of Boquete. You get here by flying into Panama City, staying overnight there and then flying out the next morning from a different airport to David. You take a bus from David to Boquete (35 miles). Once in Boquete, you take a local bus or cab up to Volcancito. Tired yet?
