Another beautiful morning here with a bit of bajareque. I just looked this word up on Wikipedia, and their definition was of a type of housing construction of sticks woven together and packed with mud. That's not what it means here - at least not the most popular meaning. Here bajareque is a very, very fine mist. You can't see it unless you look into the sun, and then it looks like zillions of tiny insects flying in all directions. It feels like a slight tingling on the skin. Nothing that would ever get you wet really, but just a soft, cooling mist.
I'm holding my first Law of Being class this morning by FreeConferenceCall with Pam, Diane, Kathleen and Lynne. Hope we can pull it off. I finally got all the bugs out of the program, and my magicJack has been behaving quite well, so fingers crossed. I spoke with Lynne recently, and she told me that she was accepted to the the McLean Meditation Institute, so we are off on a great adventure together.
Tonight we are going to the Newcomers' dinner at Arte Cafe. It's the French restaurant in town. Dan and I have eaten there on past visits, but I hear that there are new owners now. Vic, Pam and Ted are going as well. Pia is going to pick Dan and I up, and Vic will go with Pam and Ted because Pia's car is too tiny for him. Looking forward to it and a another day of reading and relaxing without having to worry about cooking.
